Deposits
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your event date. Once receiving your invoice, you have a 24 hour grace period to submit your deposit and secure your date. After the 24 hour grace has passed, your date will remain open and may be booked by another client who is ready to submit their deposit. Orders created within 14 days of your event date require payment in full. Final payment is due 7 days before your event date. Inquiries, quotes, and verbal confirmations do not hold or guarantee dates.

Payments
Payments can be made through any of of the three links attached to your invoice.
Checks are accepted; however, orders paid by check must be paid in full at time of booking rather than standard 50% deposit.
Cash is not accepted.
Booking and Availability
All orders are first come, first serve. Dates are only secured once the required deposit received with a 24 hour grace period.
Upon unforseen circisums orders can be moved to a one time future date, if avaiability is open for new date
Custom Designs
Inspiration photos, including AI generated designs are welcome as creative references rather than exact replicas. Slight variations in color, texture, and decorative details are a natural part of bespoken cake artistry. Efforts are always made to honor your vision, exact color matching and design replication cannot be guaranteed.
Cake Care and Safety
Each cake and dessert require proper handling to preserve beauty, structure, and freshness. Cakes should be transported in a cool, air-conditioned vehicle on a flat, level surface and never on a seat or someones lap. Driving slow and cautious, avoiding potholes, bumps, and tight turns. Avoid direct sunlight, prolonged outdoor exposure with warm temperatures, windows, and heat sources. Once cakes or desserts have been picked up or delivered-responsibility transfers to client. Sugar Bakes n Cakes is not held responsible for damages resulting in client transportation, storage, handling, or environmental conditions,.
Delivery
Delivery fees are calculated based on distance and location starting at $2.50 per mile and may include a base charge for set up requirments.
All deliveries and setup times are carefully coordinated to ensure a seamless experience. Clients arre responsible for providing accurate venue details, gate codes, vendor access, and road condions leading to venue. Delays caused by restricted access, miscommunication, venue complications, or last-minute changes may result in additonal fees.
All tiered cakes require delivery and setup by sugar bakes n cakes. Once setup is complete, responsibility for the cake transfers to client.
Unexpected Circumstances
As a small independently owned business, I often book celebrations months in advance, While I take every commitment to heart, unexpected illness or emergencies can arise.
In rare events that my health, a personal emergency, or family sickness prevents me from fullfiulling your order, a full refund will be issues, and i will do everything within my ability to help find a trusted replacement baker.
Client Communtion and Courtesy
I deeply value kindness, grace, honest communicstion, and mutal respect. I kindly ask that all inquiries, changes, concerns, and all important details be communicated in a timley matter. I maintian a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, treats, disrespectful behavior, or false and defamatory statements. I reserve the right to decline or discontinue services when these boundaries are violated. My goal is to create a beautiful experinence built on trust, professionalism, and mutual understanding.
Cancellations and Reschedulaing
As each order is thoughtfully planned and dates are often reserved months in advance, all %50 bookings are nonrefunable.\Cancelltions made within 7 days of event date will remain responsible for the full remaininng balance. I understand that plans can change, I offer a one-time rescheduling to a future date, subject to availability. New dates cannot be guaranteed.
Unexpected emergencies are always condsidered ona a case by case basis, so i kindly encourage open communication.
